Vans is synonymous with checkerboard, but this season, in partnership with New York City’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), it gets a colourful reworking. Alongside more conventional monochromatic blocks, it features across the canvas uppers of these Old Skools and creates a look that’s worthy of hanging on the walls of the museum itself. Expanses of off-white appear through the midfoot, providing a base for bold ‘Vans’ and ‘MoMA’ branding to pop, while the SoCal label’s ComfyCush™ technology sits underfoot to ensure a soft ride.
